SAN ANTONIO – A little-known deli on the North Side of San Antonio is earning national recognition.
Gino’s Deli Stop N Buy at 13210 Huebner Road made the 65th spot in Yelp’s Top 100 Places to Eat in America list.
Gino’s Deli is famous for their Philly cheese steaks and their unique rule: The restaurant only accepts your money if you say you “absolutely loved” your food. Otherwise, the meal is on the house.
Azeem Anwar of Gino’s Deli said the restaurant has sold more than three million sandwiches since they opened. Only eight people have ever walked away with a free meal, Anwar said, because they did not love their food.
