San Antonio restaurant makes Yelp’s national list of Top 100 Places to Eat

Gino’s Deli Stop N Buy, at 13210 Huebner Road, made its debut on Yelp’s annual list of Top 100 Places to Eat in the country in the 65th spot.
One of the 100 best places to eat in America can be found on Huebner Road, according to Yelp.
Gino’s Deli Stop N Buy, at 13210 Huebner Road, made its debut on Yelp’s annual list of Top 100 Places to Eat in the country in the 65th spot.
The eatery, touted as the “best kept secret in San Antonio” and a “north side legend and a community institution,” offers items like Philly cheese steaks, burgers and sandwiches, according to its website.
Yelp’s data science team compiled the list by using both ratings and number of reviews, according to the website.

Gino’s has a 5-star Yelp rating with reviews to match.
“This place was delicious,” Yelper Laviana H. said. “I had driven past it many times & didn’t know it was there.”
Happy customers also commented on the hospitality.
“Just had the most delightful food and experience,” Greg H. said. “This place is legit. This is inside a convenience store but the staff make you feel at home and work with a smile.”
Gino’s celebrated the honor on Facebook by thanking Yelp and their “amazing” customers for the “honor.”
Other Texas spots on the list were Tony’s Italian Delicatessen in Montgomery, Tommy Tamale Market and Cafe in Grapevine, Empa Mundo in Irving, Le’ Pam’s House of Creole and Yoyo’s Hot Dog in Houston, House of Gyros in Mesquite and Boteco in Austin.
